Valve inspection and assembly
When cleaning or inspecting the cartridge valve, it is not necessary to change the valve setting or remove the piping. This is due to the free-floating assembly design of the SUN cartridge valve, which allows the end of the valve to float within the body, reducing sensitivity to mounting torque and avoiding jamming of the internal moving components. When installing sealing components, use appropriate tools and avoid tools with knife-shaped edges to prevent cutting the sealing material. Take care not to overstretch the seal and ensure that the seal material is compatible with the system hydraulic oil and the block oil.Stop ring installation: stop ring usually has no special installation direction requirements, but the spiral stop ring notch is in the form of left-hand thread. Special attention needs to be paid to proper installation and special tools may be needed to avoid over-stretching .
Vibration and noise of the valve
Resonance and noise problems of the hydraulic system: the pilot valve part of the SUN pioneer relief valve is a vibration prone part, and the axial opening of the pilot valve is very small and the flow rate is high when the overflow is under high pressure, which is easy to cause uneven pressure distribution and vibration. In addition, when the air is sucked into the oil or the oil pressure is lower than atmospheric pressure, some of the air dissolved in the oil will precipitate to form bubbles, and these bubbles will be compressed when the oil flows to the high pressure area, and the volume will suddenly become smaller or the bubbles will disappear, resulting in noise and vibration. When the SUN pilot relief valve is unloaded, due to the rapid change of oil flow rate, the pressure changes, resulting in the impact of pressure waves, which may cause system vibration and enhanced noise .
Safety protection of valve
When the system pressure exceeds the setting pressure, the SUN cartridge valve opens the overflow to protect the overload, so that the system pressure no longer increases, usually the setting pressure of the relief valve is 10% to 20% higher than the maximum working pressure of the system .
