The electromagnetic overflow valve is a hydraulic control element that operates based on the electromagnetic principle. It is mainly composed of an electromagnet, a cone and a spring. When current is passed through, the electromagnet will attract the conical valve core, thereby opening the overflow port and realizing the flow regulation of the hydraulic oil. Electromagnetic overflow valves are widely used in hydraulic and pneumatic control systems in various fields such as machine tools, metallurgy, construction, and chemical industry.
The characteristics of the electromagnetic overflow valve include:
High sensitivity : Since the valve core surface that controls the opening is a conical surface, the valve core can have a larger opening with a slight movement, and the valve core is small in size, small inertia, and flexible in movement.
Large flow capacity : There is an annular groove on the left end of the valve core. When the oil flows through this groove, the flow direction changes, forming a hydraulic force in the opposite direction of the spring force, which increases the flow capacity.
Wide pressure regulation range : Since the spring stiffness required by the valve core is reduced, the pressure regulation range is increased.
Increased stability: An appropriate gap is set between the damping piston at the lower end of the valve core and the valve body to reduce friction. The pressure fluctuation can be fed back to the valve core in time, making it move flexibly and smoothly.
Wide range of applications: It can work normally under vacuum, negative pressure, and zero pressure, but the diameter generally does not exceed 25mm; it can also work normally under zero pressure difference or high pressure, but the power is large and must be installed horizontally.

Regular inspection: The electromagnetic overflow valve in operation should be checked regularly for abnormal phenomena such as leakage, jamming, and spring rust, and timely maintenance.
Installation environment: The electromagnetic overflow valve installed outdoors should take appropriate protective measures to prevent the intrusion of dirt such as rain, fog, and dust, and take necessary antifreeze measures to ensure the reliability of the action.
Choose a suitable relief valve: The appropriate type of relief valve should be selected according to the working characteristics and specific requirements of the hydraulic system. The direct-acting relief valve has a faster response and is suitable for use as a safety pressure-maintaining valve; the pilot relief valve has good opening and closing characteristics and is suitable for use as a pressure regulating and constant pressure valve.
Keep it clean: The electromagnetic relief valve should be disassembled regularly for comprehensive cleaning, inspection, re-grinding, and adjustment before it can be reused.
